Hormone-Loving Winter Oats with Rhubarb Strawberry Jam & Elixir Drizzle

🍓 Ingredients (Serves 1)

For the oats

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • 1 cup almond or oat milk

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed

  • ½ banana, sliced (use half for cooking, half for topping)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the rhubarb strawberry chia jam

  • ½ cup chopped rhubarb

  • ½ cup chopped strawberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1–2 tsp maple syrup (to taste)

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Zest of ¼ lemon (optional)

Lemon-Honey Elixir Drizzle

  • 1–2 tsp Hormone Elixir (Lemon or Natural)

  • 1 tsp raw honey

  • Squeeze of fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp warm water

Toppings

  • Remaining banana slices

  • 1 tbsp almond butter or tahini

  • 1–2 Brazil nuts, chopped

 Method

1. Make the jam:
Add rhubarb and strawberries to a small saucepan with a splash of water. Simmer gently for 10–12 minutes until soft. Stir in chia seeds, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, and lemon zest. Simmer another 2–3 minutes until jammy. Set aside to thicken.

2. Cook the oats:
In another saucepan, combine oats, milk, chia, flax, cinnamon, vanilla, and half the banana. Simmer over medium heat, stirring regularly, for 8–10 minutes until thick and creamy.

3. Mix the drizzle:
In a small bowl, whisk together the Hormone Elixir, raw honey, lemon juice, and warm water until smooth and pourable.

4. Assemble your bowl:
Spoon the oats into a bowl. Top with a generous dollop of warm rhubarb strawberry jam, the remaining banana slices, almond butter, and chopped Brazil nuts. Finish with the elixir drizzle for a hormone-supportive ritual that feels like self-care in a bowl.
