Hormone-Supporting Chocolate Date Bark (Easy Healthy Dessert Recipe)
This chocolate date bark is a nourishing, hormone-supporting dessert made with dark chocolate, dates, nuts, and coconut. Easy, healthy, and rich in antioxidants.
Ingredients:
- 200g dark chocolate (70% or higher), melted
- 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted and flattened
- 1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/4 cup shredded almonds
- 2–3 tablespoons almond butter
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
Method:
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Arrange the flattened dates on the tray, pressing them together to form a sticky base layer.
- Drizzle almond butter over the dates and gently spread.
- Pour the melted dark chocolate over the top, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle with walnuts, shredded coconut, and shredded almonds.
- Finish with a pinch of sea salt if desired.
- Place in the fridge for 1–2 hours, or until set.
- Break into pieces and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
